  5. The Kincade General Ledger Package is a sophisticated accounting package which
  6. is designed to provide a base for other, more specific software packages. This
  7. package features user-definable charts of accounts, up to 99 fiscal periods,
  8. specialized journals, multiple bank accounts, multiple sets of books, and a
  9. large variety of accounting reports and financial statements. The package is
  10. based on a double-entry account system and allows simple as well as batch
  11. entries to be made. Debits and credits are automatically verified and
  12. transactions cannot be saved if the transaction does not balance. Year-end
  13. procedures allow adjusting entries to be entered and will make closing entries
  14. automatically. All modules of the Kincade Accounting Series are designed to be
  15. fully integrated to the Kincade General Ledger Package.
